Reading time and our first venture out into sun-drenched Kraków (pic heavy, as they say…)

During class time yesterday we caught up on our reading and then walked to and around the sunny rynek główny (main market square), taking in the very busy scene of this incredibly popular location in Poland. We observed some children performing folk dances and then went to the Collegium Maius, the original building of Jagiellonian University (the oldest university in Poland and the third-oldest in Europe). We are capably guided by a Jagiellonian student named Karolina.
